DOC-FAI
WONG is one of the most well-known kung fu masters in this country. He has written
articles in martial art magazines and informative books on Kung Fu. Grandmaster Wong studied Choy Li Fut under Hu Yuen-Chou who was a disciple of Choy Lei Fut's founder's grandson, Chan Yiu-Chi. He also studied Yang Style Tai Chi Chuan under Hu Yuen-Chou who learned the style from the famous Yang Cheng-Fu. Grandmaster Wong has been teaching since 1968 at his school in San Francisco which now has branches throughout the United States and Europe. He is also a licensed acupuncturist and a respected traditional herbalist. |

TAI
CHI CHUAN (Grand Ultimate Fist) is a fighting system based on the intricacies of Taoist
philosophy. The Yang style is the best known and most widely practiced style in North
America, and dates to the eighteenth century.
Tai Chi Chuan is popular not only as an effective fighting art, but also as a relaxation and health maintenance system for people of all ages and from all walks of life.

After
the form, the next step in tai chi chuan training is the push hands
exercise. Push hands enables the student to learn the sensitivity necessary
to properly utilize tai chi self-defense techniques. Grandmaster Wong
also shows us the longer 40-Movement tai chi chuan form for more advanced
students.

In
traditional Tai Chi training, after learning the open hand forms, the
student is taught the graceful sword form. This helps build arm and
wrist strength and trains the student to use the tai chi movements with
a weapon for self-defense.

this video Grandmaster Wong teaches the standardized combination form
from Mainland China. This form integrates elements from the Yang, Wu
