Dragon Style was originated in the late 1800's by the Shaolin nun, Ng Mui. The system was refined by the monk Tai Yuk and again by his disciple, Lam Yew Kwai. Grandmaster Lam passed the system to Cho Sam. Strong & fast, the Dragon Style is noted for it's unusual slide-stepping and arm positioning. The Dragon fighter presses his attack close-in to prevent the opponent from retaliating.
YIP WING HONG is one of the very few people in North America who is openly teaching Dragon Style.
His teacher was the famous Dragon Claw master Cho Sam. Sifu Yip teaches out of his school in New York City and is actively involved in the United Kung Fu Federation of North America.
